God’s plan to deal with sin is truly remarkable. From the beginning, He promised a Savior who would conquer sin and bring redemption to humanity. In Genesis 3:15, God foretold that the seed of the woman would crush the serpent’s head, referring to Jesus overcoming sin and death on the cross. Throughout history, God provided laws and sacrifices as temporary solutions for sin until Jesus came as the ultimate sacrifice for all humanity Genesis 3:15.
Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross paid the price for our sins once and for all Hebrews 9:26. Those who believe in Him are forgiven and have eternal life John 3:16. Looking ahead, in eternity, there will be a new heaven and a new earth where there will be no more sin or suffering, only joy in God’s presence forevermore Revelation 21:1-4. Isn’t it amazing how God’s plan unfolds from creation to eternity?
While evil exists due to humanity’s free will to choose disobedience and sin, love doesn’t need to exist. Love can exist without evil because God’s love is pure, unconditional, and untainted by sin. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 describes the characteristics of loveāit is patient, kind, does not envy or boast, and is not proud or self-seeking.
Evil was allowed to exist due to the gift of free will that God bestowed upon humanity. In Genesis, when Adam and Eve chose to disobey God in the Garden of Eden, sin entered the world, bringing with it evil and its consequences Genesis 3:6-7. God desires genuine love and relationship with us, but true love requires the freedom to choose. Without free will, our love for God would be meaningless because it would be forced rather than freely given.
Despite the presence of evil in the world, God’s ultimate plan is redemption and restoration. Through Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross, He provided a way for us to be reconciled to Him and overcome evil through His power Colossians 1:20. While we may not fully understand why evil exists, we can trust that God’s wisdom surpasses our understanding and that He works all things together for good for those who love Him Romans 8:28.
No one can pluck us out of God’s hand. In John 10:28-29, Jesus says, “And I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand” (John 10:28-29). This assurance emphasizes our security in God’s love and protection once we belong to Him.
As believers in Jesus Christ, we are held securely in God’s hands, safe from any external force that may try to separate us from His love. This promise gives us comfort and confidence as we journey through life, knowing that nothing can snatch us away from the care and protection of our Heavenly Father.
YOU ARE ONLY SAVED FROM ETERNAL SEPARATION FROM GOD ONCE! Many people believe in Jesus when they are very young. They come to Him naturally. They met the requirements for eternal life with God, no matter what later happens to them. Many fall away from loving God as they grow up. They may no longer believe in Jesus Christ. They may worship Satan. But God still has them in His hand, loves them, And they will spend eternity with Him.
